What happens during a comprehensive Feng Shui Advantage® consultation?
In order to prepare the 'Personal Directions' pages of your 3-part report, you'll provide all the names, genders and dates of birth for all the residences of your home or management team members of your business when scheduling your appointment.
Upon my arrival, you’ll give me a tour of your home/office, the date of construction, the dates of any major reconstruction or additions and an exact floor plan which includes the precise location of all doors and windows. If you have a detailed floor plan, drawn exactly to scale, the consultation takes a minimum of five (5) hours from start to finish. Please allow an additional hour to 1.5 hours per 1,000 square feet for drawing the floor plan, if one is not available. An additional fee of $90 per hour will be charged for creating your floor plan. You will be given a blank copy of the floor plan I create that you may use for other purposes later. If you prefer, I can send you detailed directions on how to draw your own floor plan.
After the tour, your attention is NOT required, while I'm evaluating all the Feng Shui influences and preparing your 3-part report. You may continue working, watch a movie, read a book or do gardening while I'm analyzing your home / office and preparing your report.
Once your report is completed, we sit down together and go over every detail of your entire report. We'll even brainstorm how you can implement your required elemental remedies to blend with your decor and I'll answer all your questions.. You keep the original report and a tape recording of us going over the entire report. I keep a copy of your report, so you may call or email me with any additional questions you have while implementing your remedies. Plus, I use my copy of your report to give you the opportunity to order annual updates by mail.
What you'll need to provide at the time of the consultations:
- Birth dates of permanent occupants of your residence or of your management team.
- Detailed floor plan (11" x 17" maximum, 8" X 11" preferred) drawn to scale showing all doors and windows. If you don't have a floor plan, allow extra time for one to be drawn during your appointment for an additional $90 per hour for the time it takes to create your floor plan. You will be given a blank copy of the floor plan I create that you may use for other purposes later. If you prefer, I can send you detailed directions on how to draw your own floor plan.
- Year of construction (also year of any major reconstruction or additions). It's crucial that this date is accurate to ensure you are advised... the correct elemental Feng Shui remedies to use. To find the year of construction, first check your deed or ask your realtor or landlord. However, the best sources for finding the year of construction are your county property tax assessor's office, city building permit office or a real estate title company's customer service department.
Consultation Fees and Payment Options:
- Existing structures = 45¢ per square foot – minimum $450. Full payment is due at the time of consultation.
- $90 per hour for creating your floor plan. You will be given a blank copy of the floor plan I create that you may use for other purposes later. If you prefer, I can send you detailed directions on how to draw your own floor plan.
- Project development = 63¢ per square foot – minimum $630; which includes 2 reviews of floor plans changes, .color advice and a complete report with the first years remedies. Full payment is due at the time of first appointment.
- Remote & Out-of-town consultations require a deposit. Travel expenses for out-of-town consultation, such as airline ticket, rental car and/or hotel room. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the client and shall be paid in advance.
