How Much Is NOT Managing Your Inherent
Feng Shui Energies Costing You?
by P.K. Odle, The Feng Shui Advantage
One of my clients called me recently to analyze the Feng Shui of his company, which he had recently taken over. He had run the company for the past several years and just bought the business this year. In its industry, it is a well known and a well established business. He couldn't figure out why after he acquired the company they began to have problems.
When I arrived he explained that he hadn't changed anything involving how the business was being run that would explain the lack of customers. The only thing different was that he was now occupying a different office and he thought that might be the cause of the company's difficulties.
This is not the first time I have been called to assist a company or home-based business that began having problems for no apparent reason. Other than someone changed the area of the building they are working in. After all, you are influenced by the unseen energy pattern of the area where you spend the most time. Therefore, when you begin to spend more time in a different area, you will have different results.
Classical Feng Shui works with repeatable energy patterns that have predictable consequences. Some are supportive, while others are sabotaging. For all buildings, the entrances are the most important areas to have supportive energies. In homes, the second most important areas are the bedrooms, because we spend a third of our lives in bed. For a business the next most important areas after the entrances are the decision makers, sales and accounts receivable offices. If any of those areas have sabotaging energy patterns the business will suffer.
All buildings have energy patterns that relate to procrastination and delays. For a business it is vital that those areas are not at the entrances or other important areas, because they will delay customers from doing business with you or delay existing clients from paying you. Plus, those energies will delay you or your employees from completing projects. Let's face it, rarely in business are delays a good thing.
There are other energy patterns that contribute to gossip, arguments and lawsuits. If they are at your entrance, bedroom or office area... you might not have it as bad as Courtney Love, but you will be wondering why things are so difficult. Only lawyers could benefit from this energy combination, however if they don't want legal problems of their own it's better that they remedy this negative energy pattern.
FYI... Fire colors trigger both of the sabotaging energy patterns mentioned above. So remove Fire colors from important areas, until you are certain they are not causing you problems.
I could tell you what remedies I advise clients to use, but then you would try the "Goldilocks Method" of trial & error Feng Shui, which could actually cause you harm. For instance, metal is used as a remedy in some cases, but if you add metal objects to the wrong energy pattern you would trigger bleeding injuries from metal.
Remember, there are NO one-size-fits-all remedies in Classical Feng Shui. It is always on a case-by-case analysis that remedies are advised.
In the case of the client who recently acquired the company, the energy pattern of his new office weren't the major problem. It was a matter of timing, because the entire building went into a "20 year Money Lock" on Feb. 4, 2004, shortly after he took over the company. It was a relief for him to know that it wasn't his fault that the company was having troubles. In any building that is Locked on Money, a business will struggle to make even a small profit. In many cases, a business can't survive, which is what happened to L.A.Gear when I was working as their on-site travel agent many years ago.
As soon as my client implements the necessary remedy to release the lock, it will be back to business as usual. Actually, it will be better than business as usual, because I also instructed him how to neutralize the sabotaging energies and enhance the supportive energy combinations.
